A student-run monthly magazine at Portland State University. I worked here as the Creative Director.
Emphasizing its core identity as a direct, uncensored, and experimental student magazine, I fully re-designed the typographic system, page layout and image guidelines for the publication. Without isolating long-time readers, we drew in new readership with refreshed visual quality and professional credibility. This brand guide has been the foundation of every issue since 2023.
As an editor, I managed the full creative team of photographers & illustrators, structuring our time and resources via Basecamp to ensure comprehension, quality, and punctuality of each assignment. I also served as the communication bridge between the production and writing teams, leading to cohesive and thought-provoking monthly issues.
